Cape Cod Airfield is nestled in the woods between the ocean, lakes, and beaches of Cape Cod. Take a step back in time to an airfield that dates back to the 1920s. It has over 80 acres of open daisy-filled field, 3 grass intersecting runways, 2 hangars, and a quaint old windmill. It was once used as a training field for the Army Air Corps and rumor has it that Amelia Earhart landed here.
After you’ve checked out the Airfield, be sure to make a reservation for a BiPlane Ride! Experience breathtaking views of Cape Cod in a Waco YMF-5 Biplane. This aircraft is a replica of a late 1930’s design and was built in 1988. One or two passengers ride in the front cockpit on a scenic biplane tour of Cape Cod. See stunning views of the beaches, bridges, and canal.
